Pricing FAQ
- Is the Community edition really free for commercial use?
- Yes. The Community edition is released under AGPL-3.0 and can be used in production without a commercial agreement. AGPL requires source disclosure if you offer it as a network service — if that's a blocker for your use case, the Pro edition includes a commercial license without the AGPL obligations.
- What is the difference between Pro and managed hosting?
- Pro is the software, running on your infrastructure — you operate it. Managed hosting is the same software operated by us on EU infrastructure. Pro is right when the data has to stay inside your perimeter; managed hosting is right when you want the capability without running a server.
- If you host it for us, where is our data processed?
- On EU infrastructure under EU-controlled entities — we do not transfer customer content outside the EU. Managed hosting is arranged per customer rather than sold as a fixed tier, so the exact location, the support window and the operational commitments are written into your agreement before anything is deployed.
- Can I move from Community to Pro to Cloud later?
- Yes, in either direction. The data format is identical across editions. Migration is a configuration change and a license key, not a re-ingestion.
- Do you offer source-code escrow?
- Yes. For Pro and Cloud customers we can deposit the full source of the proprietary components with a neutral EU-based escrow agent, releasable under defined trigger events.
